Manchester City Rejects €30 Million Bid for Rising Star Rico Lewis

Manchester City has shut down a significant transfer offer from fellow Premier League club Nottingham Forest for their talented 20-year-old player, Rico Lewis. The club, managed by Pep Guardiola, has made it clear that the young star is not for sale at this price.

According to exclusive reports, Nottingham Forest placed a bold bid for Lewis, offering an initial €25 million. The deal also included an extra €5 million in potential add-ons, bringing the total package to a hefty €30 million. However, the champions swiftly rejected the proposal, signaling their strong intention to keep the promising player at the Etihad Stadium. Sources suggest that Forest will have to come back with a much-improved offer if they hope to change City’s mind.

This transfer saga is just one piece of a very busy summer for Manchester City. The club is actively managing its squad, with players both leaving and potentially arriving.

On the outgoings front, star winger Jack Grealish has already been loaned out to Everton for the season. Meanwhile, the exciting Brazilian forward Savinho is reportedly attracting serious interest from Tottenham, and midfielder James McAtee is another player on Nottingham Forest’s shopping list.

At the same time, City is looking to strengthen its squad. The club is reportedly exploring major moves for top international talent, with names like Real Madrid’s Rodrygo and PSG’s star goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma being linked with a switch to Manchester.
