Manchester United and Liverpool have received good news as Bayern Munich has scaled back its interest in Yan Diomande.
The RB Leipzig teenager is expected to be the focus of a transfer battle this summer, with both Premier League clubs weighing their options.
Although Bayern Munich has shown some interest in Diomande, reports indicate that they are no longer pursuing him aggressively.
Leipzig is reportedly asking for around €100m (£86.2m) for the Ivorian. Bayern considers this fee to be ‘too high’ for a player who may not instantly fit into their starting lineup due to the presence of Michael Olise and Luis Diaz.
Diomande has emerged as a standout player in the Bundesliga, netting 11 goals and providing seven assists in all competitions this season.
When starting at RW this season, Yan Diomande has been directly involved in 14 goals (10G & 4A) in 13 games.

Liverpool sees Diomande as a possible long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah, while Manchester United is looking for successors to Marcus Rashford.
