Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is approaching a significant career milestone. This Sunday, he will manage his 1,000th professional football match. In this key game, City will go up against Liverpool.

Guardiola began his coaching career in 2007 with Barcelona B. Since then, he has become one of the most successful managers in football, winning 12 domestic league titles and three Champions League trophies.

Out of the 999 matches he has managed so far, Guardiola holds an impressive record of 715 victories.
