Rúben Amorim values the skills of the Dutch player highly.
Several leading European clubs are interested in the 24-year-old forward, but Manchester United is not looking to sell their player.
Details: The United Stand reports, citing insider Fabrizio Romano, that Manchester United has rejected multiple offers for 24-year-old Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee over the last nine months.
Sources indicate that both Napoli and Inter contacted the player’s representatives and Manchester United, but the club firmly refused any transfer talks. Juventus also showed interest, making a loan offer with an option to buy, but their efforts were unsuccessful.
A key reason for this decision is Rúben Amorim’s appreciation of Zirkzee’s versatility, whether he’s playing behind the striker or as a central forward, along with the assists and goals he contributes to the team.
Zirkzee was signed by Manchester United last summer from Bologna for €43 million. Since joining, he has played 52 matches for the club, scoring 7 goals and assisting 3 times.
Transfermarkt currently values the player at €30 million.
Reminder: Liverpool is set to compete with Manchester United for Brighton’s Cameroonian midfielder, Baleba.
