Manchester City visits London on Sunday, looking to challenge league leaders Arsenal.
After a historic Champions League win over Real Madrid, Guardiola’s team is in great form, having achieved only their second victory at the Bernabeu. Now, they shift their focus back to the Premier League.
City has been scoring heavily lately, netting at least three goals in their last three league matches. A win on Sunday would mark Guardiola’s 150th high-scoring victory.
Guardiola is likely to keep most of the winning lineup from the match in Madrid. However, he will be without important midfielders, as Rodri, Mateo Kovačić, and John Stones are unavailable. Tijjani Reijnders is in line to start to help fill the void.
In the attacking unit, Rayan Cherki is in strong form, providing an assist approximately every 80 minutes. He is set to continue alongside Erling Haaland, who scored the winning goal in Madrid. Jérémy Doku and Phil Foden are expected to offer width and creativity on the wings.
Manchester City predicted XI: Donnarumma; Nunes, Dias, Gvardiol, O’Reilly; González; Cherki, Reijnders, Foden, Doku; Haaland
The Premier League match is set to occur at Selhurst Park on Sunday, December 14, 2025, with a kick-off at 2:00 pm GMT.
UK viewers can watch the match live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League, with coverage beginning at 1:00 pm GMT.
