City had another chance in the 18th minute. Kevin de Bruyne kicked the ball, but the ball was still heading straight for Andre Onana’s arms.

The first half ended with the score still 0-0.
City threatened for the first time just three minutes after the second half of the match started, or in the 48th minute. Nico O’Reilly passed the ball to Omar Marmoush, who then passed it to Foden in the penalty area. Foden’s kick was not very good and was affected by the wind.
