Manchester United has recently made significant changes to its goalkeeping lineup.

Andre Onana, who was the first-choice goalkeeper, has been moved to a backup role for Altay Bayindir.

Senne Lammens was signed from Royal Antwerp for £18 million, becoming the new first-choice keeper.

Meanwhile, Onana has been loaned to Trabzonspor, marking what appears to be the end of his time at United after two challenging seasons.

Radek Vitek, another goalkeeper from United, has been performing well on loan at Bristol City.

The 22-year-old, who came up through the United academy, started the season impressively, winning the Player of the Month award for August 2025.

However, Vitek has faced a setback and missed the recent match against Middlesbrough.

The BBC reports that he will be out until February due to a minor procedure on his knee.

He will continue his rehabilitation at Bristol City instead of returning to Carrington.

This is a setback for Bristol City, as Vitek has been their first-choice keeper, making 21 appearances and achieving seven clean sheets.

Fortunately, Bristol has other options available.

Max O’Leary played in the recent 2-0 victory over Middlesbrough, and Joe Lumley and Lewis Thomas are also ready to step in.

With Vitek continuing his recovery at the club, they are eager to have him back on the field as soon as possible.
