Manchester United are unhappy about the failed negotiations with Carlos Baleba but are not letting it affect their plans.
Manchester United is prepared to compete with other Premier League teams in the transfer market.
Details: As reported by Mirror Football, Manchester United is now interested in 22-year-old Elliot Anderson, a central midfielder from Nottingham Forest, after negotiations with Carlos Baleba ended.
Nottingham Forest does not intend to sell their player, but Elliot has attracted interest from other clubs including Manchester City and Chelsea, with Manchester United now in the mix.
If a strong offer is made, Nottingham’s management might have to consider letting Elliot go, with a price tag set at £75 million.
Elliot Anderson transferred to Nottingham Forest from Newcastle in summer 2024 for €41 million. Since then, he has made 52 appearances for the club, scoring 2 goals and assisting 7.
His current contract runs until 2029, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value at €45 million.
Reminder: Sean Dyche has officially been appointed as the new head coach of Nottingham Forest.
