Real Madrid is interested in Manchester United’s Diogo Dalot
This past summer, Real Madrid made headlines by signing Trent Alexander-Arnold for £10m from Liverpool.
According to Graeme Bailey of TEAMTalk, the La Liga champions aim to bolster their right-back position by adding United’s Diogo Dalot.
Reports indicate that Manchester United’s director of football, Jason Wilcox, is considering the transfer.
“Real Madrid is interested in a potential future deal for Dalot, with sources suggesting Wilcox is open to selling the Portuguese defender,” Bailey reported.
He also noted, “Dalot’s long-term future is being discussed within Manchester United, and Real Madrid has shown consistent interest in him.”
With Dalot’s current contract running until 2028, Manchester United has time to decide on his future.
Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich are also interested in Diogo Dalot
Ruben Amorim’s strategy has led to Dalot taking a bench role in the team.
This has attracted interest from various clubs worldwide. Real Madrid may face competition for Dalot’s signature, as per Bailey.
“Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich are also keen on the 26-year-old,” he stated.
Regardless, it appears Dalot’s time at Manchester United may be coming to an end. He has recorded 4 goals, 12 assists, 30 clean sheets, and 33 blocked shots during his time at the club.
