The Red Devils are set for action.
A significant transfer could unfold this summer.
Details: As reported by TEAMtalk, Manchester United‘s management plans to make a fresh bid for Brighton’s 22-year-old defensive midfielder, Carlos Baleba.
Last summer, United made a move for Baleba and even reached an agreement on personal terms. However, they failed to convince Brighton, who wanted at least £100 million for the player.
At present, Baleba’s performance has declined, which is affecting his transfer value. Manchester United aims to take advantage of this situation, as they still consider him a high-level talent.
This season, Baleba has played 29 matches for Brighton but has not scored or assisted any goals.
His contract with Brighton extends until 2028, with a market value estimated at €55 million by Transfermarkt.
Reminder: Manchester United and Arsenal are in the race for Aston Villa’s star player.
