Manchester United is reportedly planning to sign Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos at the end of the season.
The focus for Manchester United this summer is to refresh their central midfield, with a list of potential targets already prepared.
As per Livescore, the club has identified Santos as a possible candidate. The Brazilian may replace Casemiro when his contract ends in July.
So far this season, Santos has struggled to secure a starting position at Chelsea, making only 10 appearances in the Premier League.
With Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo ahead of him in the lineup, his playing time has been limited, and Manchester United believes Chelsea might be open to negotiations for the right price.
At just 21, Santos is considered to have great potential and could be a long-term solution for Manchester United’s midfield.
He is among several Premier League players that United is evaluating, which also includes Elliot Anderson, Adam Wharton, Sandro Tonali, and Ibrahima Sangare.
