Manchester United is currently concentrating on their Premier League matches this season, as European games are just now starting to have an impact on their schedule.

After missing out on European competition last season, United has been able to limit their mid-week matches this year, focusing solely on domestic tournaments.

However, their early exit from the Carabao Cup against Grimsby Town means another trophy opportunity has slipped away, allowing them to concentrate more on the league.

For United, this doesn’t mean their schedule is unaffected. Games have been adjusted due to broadcasting requirements.

In February, matches against Everton, West Ham United, and Tottenham Hotspur have already been rescheduled, and now another game is set to change.

United was scheduled to play against Crystal Palace on February 28, 2026, but this is expected to alter, as indicated by Simon Stone.

Crystal Palace had qualified for the UEFA Conference League after winning last season’s FA Cup, which secured them a Europa League spot.

However, due to multi-club rules and Lyon also competing in the Europa League, Palace was relegated, and Nottingham Forest took their spot.

While Oliver Glasner’s team has reached the knockout stage, they did not perform well enough to bypass the last 16, leading to a two-leg playoff scheduled for February 19 and 26.

With the second leg happening just two days before the match at Old Trafford, regulations require a 72-hour gap between games, making it likely that the fixture with United will be moved to Sunday, March 1, 2026.
