Counting the money.
Recently, there were rumors that Manchester United might go bankrupt after releasing its financial statements. Today, September 17, the club shared the report, clarifying the situation.
Details: Notably, Manchester United’s revenues have seen a slight increase. For the 2025 fiscal year (from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025), the club reported a profit of £666.5 million, which is up by 0.7% compared to the last reporting period.
However, broadcasting revenue dropped significantly, mainly because the club did not qualify for the Champions League. It stood at £172.9 million, a 22 percent decrease from the previous period. The main point: Manchester United reduced its net loss from £113 million to £33 million.
Recall: There were also reports that head coach Ruben Amorim may soon be dismissed.
