Martin Satriano voices frustration over referee decisions in match against Lorient.

This Sunday, Lyon faced a setback, losing 1-0 against Lorient at the end of the 15th round of Ligue 1. The team struggled to find their rhythm and were outplayed by a sharper Lorient side. Their challenges intensified when they were reduced to ten players in the 42nd minute due to the expulsion of Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

After the match, Martin Satriano expressed his disappointment with the officiating, which he found too strict, in an interview with Ligue 1+: “I think we started poorly in the first half. But I believe the referees need to improve. They interrupt the game too much and don’t let us play football.” Those words resonate.
