Galatasaray captain Mauro Icardi is taking advantage of the international break, enjoying some time off as club football halts for national team matches. The striker recently shared a photo from his home in Istanbul on his Instagram story.

Icardi posted images of the view outside his house and the pool beside it, beautifully lit in the evening. He captioned the photos, “🏡 Home, sweet home 🌙✨,” tagging his fiancée, China Suárez.

Mauro Icardi has recently returned to playing after recovering from a serious injury that kept him out since last November. He is back on the pitch for Turkish Super Lig matches but is still not part of the Argentina national team.

This absence is linked to a long-running personal issue. Icardi’s ex-wife, Wanda Nara, was previously married to Maxi López, a friend of Lionel Messi. After Wanda left López for Icardi, reports suggest Messi asked for Mauro to be excluded from the national team as a way to support his friend.
