Galatasaray captain Mauro Icardi strongly supports his club and does not hold back his feelings toward rivals. The Argentine striker recently used his Instagram account to tease Fenerbahce, Galatasaray’s main competitor.
Icardi shared a photo from the introduction of Fenerbahce’s new player, Kerem Aktürkoğlu, showing him in the club’s jersey and pointing to its badge. He added a mocking comment along with the image.
“They haven’t got the 4⭐️ yet and they boast the 5⭐️ 🤦♂️ We are the One and Only 💛 🦁❤️ G⭐️L⭐️T⭐️S⭐️R⭐️Y,” Icardi wrote.

This comment highlighted that Fenerbahce has five stars over their crest despite only winning the Turkish Super Lig 19 times, which qualifies them for just three stars (clubs earn one star for every five league titles in Turkey). In contrast, Galatasaray secured their 25th championship last season, allowing them to wear five stars on their uniforms.
Fenerbahce claims a total of 28 titles, including Turkish championships won before the Super Lig started.
