Maxwell Could Make a Comeback at Ajax

Retired from the pitch since 2017, Maxwell has laid the groundwork for his career in management in Paris. The former Brazilian full-back served as the sports coordinator for PSG between 2017 and 2019, acting as the liaison between the professional team and the management.

Six years after his last role, the former Paris defender may be returning to a position, according to Dutch media. Reports from Telegraaf indicate that he has discussed the technical director role with Ajax’s management. However, he is not the only candidate, as Jordi Cruijff, a former player at Barcelona and a technical advisor at the club, is also in the running.
