As Real Madrid prepares to face Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu for the 6th matchday of the Champions League, there is concern among Madrid supporters. According to The Athletic, Kylian Mbappé and Eduardo Camavinga did not participate in the team’s training session. It was reported on Monday that the French striker has a fracture in his left ring finger following a fall during the recent 0-2 defeat against Celta.
Spanish media indicate that Mbappé’s availability for the match remains highly uncertain due to discomfort in his left leg. Camavinga, who was on the bench against Celta, does not appear to have fully recovered from an ankle injury sustained against Athletic Bilbao. Young player Dean Huijsen, also absent from training, is expected to be sidelined. Xabi Alonso is already dealing with several other absences, including Éder Militão, David Alaba, Dani Carvajal, and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
