Kylian Mbappe scored three goals to help Real Madrid win 5-0 against Kairat in the Champions League, marking a significant achievement in his career. With this performance, he surpassed both Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, although he still trails Lionel Messi, who holds the top position.
Mbappe’s hat-trick brought his total to 60 Champions League goals, making him one of only six players to reach this number. He accomplished this in just 89 matches, outpacing Ronaldo, Benzema, and Raul Gonzalez.
Raul took the longest, reaching 60 goals in 115 matches. Benzema hit the milestone in 111 matches, while Ronaldo did it in 98 games.
Mbappe now ranks among the top three players in this exclusive group. Robert Lewandowski is second, needing 85 matches to reach the mark, while Messi remains the fastest, achieving the 60-goal milestone in just 80 games.

Mbappe makes Real Madrid history
His latest hat-trick not only takes Mbappe to 60 Champions League goals but also places him among Ronaldo Nazario, Karim Benzema, and Cristiano Ronaldo as one of the few players to score a Champions League hat-trick away from the Santiago Bernabeu.
The 2018 World Cup winner has also secured s sixth place on the all-time Champions League scoring list, moving past Thomas Muller, who has 57 goals.
Cristiano Ronaldo leads the all-time scoring chart with 140 goals. However, his participation in future Champions League matches remains uncertain, allowing opportunities for others to challenge that record.
Currently, Lewandowski is in a good position to surpass it, sitting third on the list with 105 goals and still active. Given Mbappe’s achievements at a young age, he may also become a contender against the Barcelona striker in the coming years.
