Kylian Mbappé, the captain of the French national team, has arrived at the team’s base ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifying matches. He shared photos of his arrival at the national team’s camp on his Instagram.
Mbappé posted pictures from Clairefontaine, dressed casually in a white jacket and trousers with a black T-shirt.
France will start their 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign soon. They will play against Ukraine on September 5 away, followed by a home match against Iceland on September 9.
In addition to Ukraine and Iceland, France’s qualifying group also includes Azerbaijan.
Kylian Mbappé made his debut for the French national team in March 2017. Since then, he has played 90 matches, scoring 50 goals and providing 37 assists. He was part of the team that won the 2018 World Cup and reached the finals in 2022.
