Mexico and Colombia will play at AT&T Stadium in their first international friendly in the U.S. Both teams are looking to prepare for the 2026 World Cup.

Under coach Javier Aguirre, Mexico is in good form with a nine-game unbeaten run, including a triumph in the 2025 Gold Cup against the United States. They recently drew in two friendlies against South Korea and Japan.

Colombia, managed by Nestor Lorenzo, is coming off a strong performance with a 6-3 win over Venezuela and a 3-0 victory against Bolivia in South American qualifiers. They sit third in the region with 28 points, just one behind Ecuador.
