Club Brugge is set to play against Monaco in the Champions League opener, currently leading with a 3-0 score. Belgian goalkeeper Simon Mignolet experienced a dramatic first half.

Details: Mignolet initially conceded a penalty but then made a crucial save to stop it. He received a yellow card for dissent and was later substituted due to an injury.

This all happened within the first 20 minutes. After his early mistake, Mignolet quickly made up for it with his excellent save.

After the injury, Mignolet was replaced by backup goalkeeper Nordin Jackers. The medical team is currently evaluating his injury, leaving his status for upcoming matches uncertain.
