Head coach Hernán Torres did not focus on the officiating issues, instead emphasizing the challenges of a packed schedule that limits recovery time for his team. “We haven’t had much time to work. Every two days we’re playing, so it’s mostly recovery, with only a little bit of training. But the players have shown their ability and experience,” he said.
Torres commended his team’s dedication and improvement in defense: “They have focused on defensive work, fixed mistakes, and understood our straightforward approach. They’ve become more aggressive and confident, and keeping a clean sheet boosts security.”
Despite Pasto’s complaints about the refereeing, Torres praised the resilience of his players. Millonarios now prepares for their next match, an away game against Alianza FC on Saturday, September 13.
