Mbunjana saiud Galaxy aims to win the trophy for the second time in their history.
Mlungisi Mbunjana’s TS Galaxy views the Nedbank Cup as a significant opportunity for the Betway Premiership team.
On Sunday, Mbunjana and his team will face Milford FC, a National First Division club, at Solomon Mahlangu Stadium in the Nedbank Cup semi-final.
This semi-final in the Ke Yona competition also offers a chance to improve their season, which has not met expectations.
Recently, they suffered a heavy 6-0 loss to Orlando Pirates and are uncertain about finishing in the top eight.
Galaxy should not be underestimated; they previously won the trophy in 2019 while in the National First Division, defeating Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 in the final.
“It’s a significant moment for us,” said Mbunjana.
“It’s crucial for us because we last won this Cup in 2019, and we see this as a great chance to achieve that again.
“Our focus is solely on this competition, especially the semi-final.
“Preparations are going well, and we aim to perform well and strive for victory.”
