Mbow stated, “I tick all the boxes to make the national team. There are players ahead of me, and everyone in this squad is excellent. If I’m called up for the World Cup, that alone is a huge source of pride, especially given the fierce competition.”
“As the coach (Pape Thiaw) mentioned, there are no real substitutes; we’re all prepared to play. If he selects 26 players, each one is capable of starting. I think about the World Cup every day.”
