Moustapha Mbow, a consistent performer for Paris FC, has shared his aspirations to join the Senegal national team. The 26-year-old defender expressed his readiness to be part of the Teranga Lions during an interview with Onze Mondial. For Mbow, the possibility of being selected for the World Cup is more than a goal; it’s a significant milestone.

He acknowledges the strong competition within the team and shows respect for those already representing Senegal on the international level. Mbow stated, “I tick all the boxes to make the national team. There are players ahead of me, and everyone in this squad is excellent. If I’m called up for the World Cup, that alone is a huge source of pride, especially given the fierce competition.”

“As the coach (Pape Thiaw) mentioned, there are no real substitutes; we’re all prepared to play. If he selects 26 players, each one is capable of starting. I think about the World Cup every day.”
