Details: According to respected journalist Nicolò Schira on his social media platform X, Napoli’s management has learned about head coach Antonio Conte’s interest in taking the helm of the Italian national team. They have also begun considering potential replacements if he decides to leave.

The leading candidates to step in for Conte include 46-year-old Enzo Maresca, a former Chelsea manager, and 48-year-old Vincenzo Italiano, who currently coaches Bologna.

Additionally, Napoli is evaluating Daniele De Rossi and Fabio Grosso as possible options.

However, a final decision will be pending Conte’s confirmation about leaving Naples for the national team role.
