Kevin De Bruyne, now with Napoli, returns to the Etihad for the first Champions League match against Manchester City, the team he left this summer. Napoli shared this news on their official Instagram account, highlighting this highly anticipated event.
The post included an illustration of De Bruyne, showing him in both Manchester City’s kit and Napoli’s colors. It read, “King Kev is coming back to Manchester. 🤴🩵”.
De Bruyne spent ten years at Manchester City after joining from Wolfsburg in 2015. During his tenure, he won six Premier League titles and the Champions League in 2023.
This season, De Bruyne has played three matches for Napoli, scoring two goals.
Additionally, two other players from Napoli, Rasmus Højlund and Scott McTominay, are also returning to Manchester tonight.
