Napoli is negotiating a new contract with Scott McTominay to prevent interest from Premier League clubs.
The midfielder has been impressive since joining the Italian team from Manchester United for around £25 million in 2024.
McTominay played a key role in last season’s title win, scoring 12 league goals and earning the Serie A Footballer of the Year Award.
This season, he continues to impress, reaching double figures in goals across all competitions, leading to speculation about a potential return to the Premier League.
Teams like Manchester United, Newcastle United, and West Ham have shown interest, but Napoli is set to reward McTominay’s strong performances with a new contract.

Napoli director Giovanni Manna is optimistic about reaching an agreement and affirmed that McTominay has no intention of leaving.
“Scott McTominay has two more years on his contract, and we are discussing a new deal,” he told Mediaset.
“He’s very happy here, which is clear whenever he plays. We haven’t received any offers because he doesn’t want to leave.”
