Nashville SC has signed Costa Rican striker Warren Madrigal, the club announced on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old joins from Deportivo Saprissa in Costa Rica and is contracted until the 2028-29 season, with an option for 2029-30.

Mike Jacobs, Nashville’s general manager and president of soccer operations, said, “Warren is a dynamic attacking player who can create and finish scoring chances at a high level. We look forward to him joining our team in 2026.”

During his time at Saprissa, Madrigal scored 19 goals and provided nine assists in 100 matches since his debut in 2020. He also had loan spells with Valencia CF in La Liga and Sporting FC in Costa Rica.

Madrigal has netted 16 goals in 26 appearances for the Costa Rican national team, participating in tournaments like the CONCACAF Nations League, Gold Cup, Copa America, and FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

He will take up an international roster spot and will be joining Nashville’s key forwards, Hany Mukhtar and Sam Surridge. The team will kick off the season at home on February 21 against the New England Revolution.
