Ndiaye Forces Arsenal to draw 1-1 Against Everton

Iliman Ndiaye scored from a penalty for Everton against Arsenal at Goodison Park on Saturday. Arsenal were trying to keep up with Liverpool, but the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

The result meant that Everton moved up to 14th in the Premier League table, while Arsenal stayed in second place with 62 points.

Arsenal’s visitors started the game really well, getting lots of corners in the early stages, but Everton’s goalkeeper Jordan Pickford was on top form and made it really hard for the Arsenal players to score.

Everton, under pressure, had a chance from a free kick, but they didn’t take it.

The Gunners threatened again through Leandro Trossard, who burst into the box before being stopped by a timely tackle from Jarrad Branthwaite.

Mikel Arteta’s team took the lead in the 34th minute. A mistake by the home team allowed Raheem Sterling to pass the ball to Trossard, who then scored from a difficult angle.

Arsenal’s 1-0 lead lasted until half-time.

In the second half, Arsenal brought on their star player Bukayo Saka to replace Ethan Nwaneri. However, Everton equalised in the 49th minute.

Everton scored from the penalty spot after the referee, Darren England, decided that Myles Lewis-Skelly had fouled Jack Harrison in the box.

Ndiaye successfully scored the penalty by tricking goalkeeper David Raya.

After the teams were tied, Everton started to play better and kept trying to score, with goalkeeper David Raya having to make some difficult saves.

Arsenal tried to score again, but Pickford stopped Trossard from scoring. Arsenal’s next chance came from substitute Martin Odegaard, who shot wide.

Arsenal’s various attacks failed to produce a winning goal, which was good for Liverpool, the league leaders, who are now 11 points ahead of Arsenal.
