Ruben Neves has quashed rumors about a Premier League return by signing a new contract with Al-Hilal.
The Portugal international had been linked with various English clubs as he neared the end of his deal in Saudi Arabia.
With his contract set to expire this summer, he was in a position to talk to other teams as a potential free agent.
However, the 28-year-old has committed to a new three-and-a-half-year contract with Al-Hilal, which will last until 2029. The club announced this development via their X account.

Arsenal and Manchester United were reportedly interested in Neves, who moved to Al-Hilal from Wolves for £47 million in 2023.
Since joining, he has made 121 appearances in all competitions, scoring 19 goals, and has achieved success in the Saudi Pro League and King’s Cup during his tenure in the Middle East.
