Fulham has achieved victories over Bristol City and Cambridge in previous rounds, before advancing past Wycombe Wanderers on penalties. They are looking for their first major trophy in this competition.
Yoane Wissa could make his full debut tonight. He recently returned from injury and played as a substitute over the weekend. Wissa was not selected for the DR Congo squad for the Africa Cup of Nations due to his fitness issues.
Wissa’s return adds depth to the team, which has relied heavily on Nick Woltemade for goals this season.
Regarding injuries, Dan Burn will be out for a significant time. He suffered a punctured lung and fractured rib in the Tyne-Wear Derby against Sunderland. He is joined in the treatment room by Kieran Trippier, Nick Pope, and William Osula.
Newcastle predicted XI: Ramsdale; Livramento, Schar, Thiaw, Hall; Miley, Guimaraes, Joelinton; Murphy, Wissa, Barnes.
The Carabao Cup quarter-final at St James’ Park is set for Wednesday, December 17, 2025, with kick-off at 20:15 GMT.
You can watch the match live on ITV1, Sky Sports Football, and Main Event.
