Reports indicate that a businessman from Rio Grande do Sul named Neymar as an heir and bequeathed all his assets to him. The businessman chose to remain anonymous but expressed strong admiration for Neymar as both a player and a person.

“I have faced a lot of criticism. Neymar’s journey with his father reminded me of my own father, who has passed on. But above all, Neymar is not selfish, which is something rare these days,” the businessman said in an interview with Uol.

The businessman added that health concerns influenced his decision. At just over 30, he understands his time may be limited and wants to create a lasting legacy.

CNN Brazil reported that the will was signed on June 12, 2023, at Notary Office No. 9 in Porto Alegre, Brazil. It was prepared in front of two witnesses and a deputy notary.

Neymar has not yet commented on the matter, but a representative stated they have not received any official information about the will.
