The club’s attack is set for a fresh new look.
A solid acquisition.
Details: According to FAPost, 28-year-old Nigerian striker Chibuike Ohizu has joined FC Sivelele.
The transfer fee and other details are not yet available, but it is confirmed that Ohizu’s contract with Sivelele extends to 2027.
Previously, Ohizu played for Sekhukhune United since 2020 after moving from Jomo Cosmos, which now competes in the amateur ABC Motsepe League.
During his time at Sekhukhune, he scored 30 goals and made three assists in 117 matches. Ohizu seeks more playing time at his new club, as the arrival of Bradley Grobler limited his opportunities at Sekhukhune. He started twice and came off the bench four times in all competitions, prompting his decision to find a new team.
Transfermarkt estimates the striker’s market value at €900,000.
Reminder: Sekhukhune United has suspended the striker and is preparing to sell him.
