Nigeria announced its squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers on October 3, for upcoming matches against Lesotho and Benin.
The team consists of 23 players representing Nigeria in the qualifiers.
Coach Eric Chelle has chosen three goalkeepers, seven defenders, four midfielders, and nine forwards. Nigeria is currently aiming for a top position in its qualifying group, sitting third, three points behind leaders Benin Republic and second-placed South Africa.
The Super Eagles will play Lesotho on Friday, October 10, at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, South Africa, before heading back to Uyo to face Benin in their final group match on Tuesday, October 14.
