The competition among top clubs is heating up.
Nottingham Forest’s recent success has brought attention to its players, with major clubs now watching the team closely.
Details: As reported by CaughtOffside, Arsenal and Barcelona are looking to sign Nottingham Forest defender Murillo. The 23-year-old Brazilian has attracted interest from top teams for about a year, but previously only Real Madrid was mentioned as a potential suitor. Now, more clubs are interested.
For Barcelona, Murillo is considered a strong long-term option for centre-back following the exit of Iñigo Martínez. Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta is eager to strengthen his left-footed defensive lineup with the Brazilian. Chelsea has also expressed interest, but their transfer offer was turned down.
Reminder: Nottingham Forest is not facing any immediate concerns regarding the defender’s future. He is signed with the club until 2029, and Forest has set his asking price at €70–80 million for any interested parties.
