It hasn't even been a month! Nottingham Forest could change their manager again
The Nottingham Forest board is looking closely at head coach Ange Postecoglou’s future, as the team has not won any of its last seven matches.
Details: The Daily Mail reports that the club has a potential replacement in mind—Marco Silva, the current manager of Fulham.
After a 0-2 loss to Newcastle, Postecoglou announced he would speak with club owner Evangelos Marinakis in the coming days. Marinakis, who has owned Forest for eight years, usually hires managers who are not currently employed to avoid disputes and lengthy talks.
Marco Silva is under contract with Fulham until the season ends, and his high buyout clause makes it difficult for most clubs to pursue him. Nonetheless, he is a top option if the board chooses to move on from Postecoglou.
Currently, Nottingham Forest is in 17th place in the Premier League, just one point above the relegation zone.
Reminder: Ange Postecoglou faced an ultimatum before the match against Newcastle.
