Details: The Athletic reports that Ange Postecoglou has shown interest in leading Nottingham Forest and is likely to be confirmed as the new manager soon. An official announcement is anticipated in the next 24 hours.
Postecoglou is expected to be on the sidelines for Forest’s upcoming Premier League match against Arsenal this Saturday. Several of his former assistants from Tottenham are also expected to join him at the City Ground.
Marinakis has previously spoken highly of Postecoglou, recognizing his Greek heritage and pride. Last summer in Greece, Marinakis honored the coach for his accomplishments, noting how much pride Ange takes in his Greek roots.
Reminder: There were also mentions of José Mourinho being considered as a candidate by the club’s management.
