Darwin Nunez wants to leave Al Hilal this summer and return to the Premier League.

Nunez joined the Saudi Pro League team from Liverpool last summer for around £46m. The Uruguayan forward has faced challenges in the Middle East, scoring nine times in 24 matches during a season impacted by injuries.

The 26-year-old feels uncomfortable in Saudi Arabia after being left out of the squad for domestic games.

He was not included in the Saudi Pro League squad in January due to foreign player registration rules, following the arrival of Karim Benzema from Al-Ittihad. However, he is still eligible to play in the AFC Champions League and scored twice in the 2-1 victory over Al Wahda on February 16th.

Nunez is looking at his options for the summer and wants to return to England. According to Fabrizio Romano, his agents have begun contacting clubs to explore interest, with Newcastle United and Tottenham among those contacted.

During his previous time in English football, the forward scored 43 goals in 140 appearances for Liverpool.
