The club is looking for a new manager.
Differences with the club’s management resulted in the manager’s exit.
Details: Today, Nottingham Forest announced via their official account on X that they have dismissed 51-year-old Portuguese manager Nuno Espírito Santo from his role as head coach.
The club’s statement expressed deep appreciation for Santo’s contributions during his time there, including the achievements he brought to the team. With Santo at the helm, Nottingham Forest finished 7th in the Premier League last season, qualifying for European competition for the first time since 1996.
Nottingham Forest Football Club confirms that, due to recent developments, Nuno Espírito Santo has been relieved of his duties as head coach.
The club appreciates Nuno for his contributions during a successful period at The City Ground, especially for his impact in the 2024/25 season, which will remain a significant chapter in the club’s history.
As someone who played an important role in our success last season, he will always be remembered fondly,” the club noted.
Nuno Espírito Santo joined Nottingham in 2023 after leaving Saudi club Al-Ittihad. However, recent disputes with the club’s management over transfer policies led to a breakdown in relations, resulting in his dismissal.
Reminder: A situation is developing! Nuno Espírito Santo could be let go by Nottingham Forest following clashes with club management.
