Nuno Calls on West Ham to Address Paqueta Transfer Issues

Nuno Espirito Santo has called for West Ham United to quickly address the Lucas Paqueta situation during the January transfer window.

The attacking midfielder is rumored to be returning to Brazil, with Flamengo reportedly interested in signing him.

Paqueta did not participate in the recent FA Cup match against QPR, raising questions about his future with the team.

Nuno emphasizes need to resolve Paqueta’s transfer issue

Nuno insists that keeping the Brazilian player is crucial for the team as they strive to avoid relegation from the Premier League.

“We need to resolve this situation. Everyone at the club needs to work on it,” the West Ham manager stated at a press conference before their match against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

“We want our best players to be with us, and Lucas is among them, so let’s find a solution.”

“It’s a matter for the club, the player, and myself to work on together. My responsibility is to prepare the team with our top players. Lucas is one of those players, and I will do my best to utilize all of them effectively.”
