Boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk visited Lisbon, where he participated in a charity match. The athlete also attended the Champions League game between Benfica and Qarabag.
Usyk posted a photo on his Instagram, showing him standing between mannequins in Benfica and Qarabag jerseys. He pointed to the emblem of Zhytomyr’s Polissya on his tracksuit.
It’s important to mention that Usyk is also a footballer for a Ukrainian club, although he has not yet played in an official match.
In Lisbon, Usyk had extra reasons to celebrate as three Ukrainian players participated in the match. Anatoliy Trubin and Heorhii Sudakov played for Benfica, while Oleksiy Kashchuk was with Qarabag.
Qarabag won the game 3-2, with Kashchuk scoring the decisive goal. Sudakov assisted both of Benfica’s goals.
