Everything will be decided in the next few hours.
The 28-year-old Ukrainian is likely to change clubs this summer.
Details: David Ornstein reports that Nottingham Forest has submitted the necessary paperwork for a loan deal with Arsenal for defender Oleksandr Zinchenko.
The transfer was registered at 19:00, confirming that it is both legal and highly probable.
Nottingham Forest turned to Zinchenko after a last-minute deal for Atlético Madrid’s Javi Galán fell through on deadline day.
Zinchenko moved to Arsenal in 2022 from Manchester City for €35 million. Since then, he has played 91 matches for Arsenal, scoring 3 goals and assisting 5.
His contract with Arsenal runs until 2026, and Transfermarkt values him at €20 million.
Reminder: OFFICIAL. Nicolo Savona is a Nottingham Forest player!
