André Onana is close to leaving Manchester United. With the addition of Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens to the team, Onana may not get much playing time.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Trabzonspor and Manchester United have agreed on loan terms for Onana. The final choice now lies with him. If the move goes ahead, he is likely to take on the role of the club’s main goalkeeper, as Trabzonspor has recently sold Uğurcan Çakır to Galatasaray.
Onana’s contract with Manchester United lasts until the summer of 2028. This season, he has played only once, in the EFL Cup match against Grimsby Town, where his team faced an unexpected loss in a penalty shootout against the League Two team.
