Man City’s Nico O’Reilly expressed his hope to win the Premier League title after helping his team secure a 2-1 victory against Newcastle United on Saturday night.

The 20-year-old, who played in midfield, scored two goals in the first half, with Lewis Hall netting an equalizer in between, to clinch the win at home.

City is now just two points behind leaders Arsenal, who will face Tottenham Hotspur in the North London Derby on Sunday.

He added: “Winning something like this is a dream of mine. There are still many games ahead of us. We need to take it one match at a time. I’m enjoying the experience.”

Arsenal remains the favorite to win the Premier League, but O’Reilly believes Man City can surpass them.

“Absolutely. We always believe in our ability to win. We had a week to prepare for this match, which helped us a lot. We just need to keep pushing forward.”

When asked by the BBC about enjoying the title race, he said: “We’re loving it and relishing every moment. That break helped us recharge, and we have another break coming up before our next game against Leeds on Saturday.”
