Orlando City has signed goalkeeper Maxime Crepeau as a free agent for the 2027-28 season.

The 31-year-old Canadian takes over for Pedro Gallese, who was not re-signed after the 2025 season.

Crepeau spent the last two years with the Portland Timbers, achieving four clean sheets in 35 games.

Orlando’s general manager and sporting director, Ricardo Moreira, stated, “Maxime is an experienced goalkeeper with a championship background. He has won an MLS Cup and Supporters’ Shield and has been a finalist for MLS Goalkeeper of the Year. His leadership and professionalism will benefit our team.”

Crepeau won both the MLS Cup and the Supporters’ Shield with Los Angeles FC in 2022.

He has 27 shutouts in 135 career MLS starts with CF Montreal (2017), Vancouver Whitecaps (2019-21), LAFC (2022-23), and Portland.

On the international stage, he has played 29 matches for Canada and is competing with Inter Miami’s Dayne St. Clair for the starting spot at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
