Owen Cooper gained attention after his role in the Netflix series ‘Adolescence’ and is also known for his strong support of Liverpool.
The 16-year-old started his career by playing a teenager accused of murder and has since won several awards.
His most recent accolade was received on Sunday night when he was named Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series at an event in Santa Monica.
During the event, Cooper was seen talking with Timothee Chalamet about Liverpool. Although he isn’t from Merseyside, the actor from Warrington has shown his loyalty to the club.
This loyalty was evident again on Wednesday night when, after winning another award, Cooper urged coach Arne Slot to give more opportunities to Rio Ngumoha on the field.
