On Saturday, Senegal lost to Brazil in a friendly match held in London, with a score of 2-0. After the game, Senegal’s coach, Pape Thiaw, voiced his dissatisfaction regarding the treatment of his team and mentioned that the organizers did not adhere to their prior commitments.
“This is a heartfelt expression, and I don’t attribute it solely to the loss. However, I believe the organizers disrespected us. They had announced that neither team would practice on the pitch the day before the match, yet Brazil trained there while we did not. This is a lack of respect, and it’s something I wanted to highlight,” said the 44-year-old coach, while also acknowledging the superiority of his opponents: “Nevertheless, we should congratulate Brazil for playing well and winning their duels.”
