Pedro Neto has praised his teammate Estevao Willian at Chelsea, despite facing competition for spots on the team.
While discussions about coaching changes are taking place, the players are concentrating on their upcoming match against Manchester City. Enzo Maresca will not be returning to face his former club.
Neto discussed how the team is approaching the current challenges and pointed out Estevao as one of Chelsea’s most promising young players.

Transitioning from Brazil to the Premier League is challenging for any young player, but Estevao has made it seem easy.
At just 18, he plays with an assurance that appears beyond his years and shows minimal nerves typical of someone his age.
Neto attributes Estevao’s confidence to his approach towards learning and development, sharing his thoughts in an interview with Sky Sports.
“What I appreciate about him is his willingness to listen and learn. He’s always cheerful, which is great; it shows he’s a young player eager to play football,” Neto said.
Estevao came to Chelsea with high expectations as one of South America’s top young talents but has remained grounded.
At Chelsea, full of experienced players, Neto notes that Estevao is open to guidance to improve his game.
Estevao Willian could see a big increase in game time
The way Maresca has utilized Estevao this season has received mixed views. Some believe that his gradual introduction to the Premier League has helped him adapt quickly.
There have been moments where individual brilliance could have turned the game, and that’s why calls for more playing time for Estevao are reasonable.
It is unclear how the new manager will approach Estevao’s growth, but there are indications he could play a larger role in the team’s plans moving forward.
