Pep Guardiola is often considered one of the greatest managers in football history. His impressive collection of trophies includes numerous titles from his time at Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City.
Initially, there were doubts about his long-term future at Manchester City, with many suggesting he would stay for only two to three seasons. Now, he is approaching a decade with the club.
During his time, Guardiola has broken records and led his team to numerous victories in English football. Before his arrival, no English side had won 100 points in a single league season, earned a domestic treble, or secured four consecutive league titles. Manchester City has accomplished all this and more.
On Wednesday, City defeated Newcastle United 3-1, securing their place in the Carabao Cup final. This win at the Etihad resulted in a 5-1 aggregate victory over the current champions and set up a match against Arsenal at Wembley next month.

Remarkably, this will be Guardiola’s fifth League Cup final and his eleventh cup final overall during his ten seasons at the Etihad.
He has won seven of the previous nine finals, making Wembley a successful venue for his team.
